On 236 bus routes and 12 rail lines statewide, NJ TRANSIT provides nearly 223 million passenger trips each year.As a Principal Recruiter for NJ Transit, I am responsible for providing full life-cycle recruiting for various business units by identifying, attracting, and securing high quality candidates to fulfill current business needs. I work closely with management to identify sources, develop and execute recruiting plans to meet the organization’s staffing needs. I establish and maintain positive relationships with various internal stakeholders to fill positions timely with the best candidates. I am also responsible for interpreting policies and procedures for the client base, coordinating and participating in recruitment marketing activities including internet strategy, advertising, collateral, outreach programs, job fairs, college recruiting, and networking. Additionally, I am responsible for overseeing NJ Transit’s South Jersey Strategic Staffing Department and supporting related general human resource functions.
