Nutriset is the world leader in the ready-to-use therapeutic food market with operations in 10 countries and the United Nations system as its main client. With a network of 15 companies in France and abroad, the Group provides a global offer to worldwide food programs, mainly UNICEF and WFP, to international or local NGOs as well as to governments, for areas facing nutritional risks (e.g. Sudan, Yemen, Ethiopia, Haiti etc…).Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and member of the General Secretariat, I also participate in the Group's management bodies.In my capacity as Legal Director, I work closely with the various companies in the Group and, internally, with the Finance, Management Control and Investment Departments, on corporate governance, partnership and development, investment, negotiation of contracts [commercial and corporate] issues as well as international transactions tax matters.The Legal Department that I lead also provides legal support internally on R&D, Advocacy, Quality Assurance projects and also on issues related to intellectual property (patents and trademarks) and regulatory matters (food law, labelling, marketing authorisation). As such, I work closely with the operational teams to support in dealing with the Group's projects.Finally, compliance issues and anti-corruption risk management are integrally part of the tasks under my supervision within the Legal Department.My added value to succeed in this mission: my expertise, my international profile, my background and my familiarity with the field, which I put at the service of the Nutriset Group to enable it to pursue its ambition in favor of solid and lasting links with its partners, in an increasingly complex legal environment.The fight against malnutrition is at the heart of the action of the Nutriset Group and also that of my commitment and dedication.

Deals with a wide range of legal, operational and business issues that impact the organization including: advice and expertise on the African business context, negotiations, partnership creation, foreign business trips to assess local subsidiaries. Took part in the “Rail Loop project” day to day management (construction of a Rail road of 1400 km length between Niger and Benin, to be linked afterwards to Cameroon and Ivory Coast) Drafted legal and operational documentation for the company’s IPO and participated to the road show  Mapped the institutional, bilateral and multilateral donors as part of the research for concessional financing; interacted with investment bankers in the search for investors for West-African infrastructures projects Led a joint study with G.E. regarding the potential takeover of a local Railways company in Nigeria Managed litigation files and made intermediation for transactional solutions in Niger Monitored the Corporate Social Responsibility policy of BOLLORE Railways and implemented a training workshop on Human Rights in partnership with the Danish Institute of Human Rights
