I am known to have innovative and creative ideas. I am solution oriented and a master brainstormer. I have natural leadership skills and my interpersonal skills were refined by trainings and education as well as years of experience working with diverse communities of all ages and backgrounds. These abilities serve me well under stress, during a crisis or when a new pathway must be carved.I am a team player, a self-starter, and an outside-the-box-thinker.I am both an ally and an advocate for inclusivity, celebration of diversity, as well as mental health and neurodivergence awareness in the workplace and within my community. I am most passionate about advocating and serving marginalized groups and communities in minority situations. As a Manager within the Francophone Affairs, I am responsible for leading, coordinating, and creating initiatives and projects aimed at promoting bilingualism and Francophone culture within Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne. I play a key role in developing strategies to promote inclusivity, support linguistic diversity, and strengthen the engagement of Francophone, Francophile, and Anglophone communities. My goal is to facilitate community partnerships and interdepartmental relations that supports and contributes to the vitality of Francophone culture. I engage with all stakeholders to ensure a university environment where bilingualism and linguistic diversity are valued, all while fostering the quality and access to services, ressources and sense of belonging of our francophone community.
