Work closely with suppliers to ensure the production and timely delivery of quality parts. This includes assessing non-conforming hardware for their impact on performance, integration, and cost. It also includes maintaining CAD drawings and parts lists. As part of the product life cycle, redesign efforts required reviewing requalification test plans, material properties, possible suppliers, and the effect on component requirements.

Worked on an effort to reduce the energy usage in data centers. Mainly studied the effects of mechanical vibration on hard drive performance. Ran sinusoidal and random vibration tests on servers to characterize vibrations on hard drives in a server chassis. Then, created GUIs in Matlab to show the real time hard drive performance relative to vibration level and frequency.
