- NLACRC Vendor Advisory Board Member- Expand employment services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to the greater Los Angeles area.- Creation and Implementation of systems to allow for centralized, paperless information.-Provide consultation and training to individuals and their families on transitioning from the school system into adult services.

Supporting adults with developmental disabilities to find employment within their communities. We are an adult day program but are employment focused. We are heavily involved in Employment First Initiatives.We have built partnerships with many local businesses. We have 120 individuals in our program and 50% are competitively employed.April 2015 - We took in our first Supported Living client. We are excited to provide people with meaningful supports in all facets of their lives.We will continue to provide the best, person-centered services in the Orange County Area.

We provide parents with help, support, and solutions when their children with a developmental disability reaches adulthood. We find solutions to assist in achieving the most fulfilling adult life for their children. We assist families to learn about public and private services, access them, take the right steps, and offer professional guidance. We work with individual families on a regular basis, so that I can truly get to know the families’ needs. In this context of this intimate level of interaction, this service will offer the following supports: Develop customized person centered plan Support families in IPP Transitional meetings Navigate Regional Center and other government funded services Navigate private services Identify best housing options Explore appropriate social opportunities Volunteer and/or employment opportunities  Establish medical protocols for the future Identify legal servicesOur service is 100% custom. It is a small investment of time and resources when one considers all that will be put into place for their child for many years to come. With support from ETTA, families will gain peace of mind knowing that they have done all they can to ensure a sustainable future for their adult childThis service is for parents who are seeking to find the most meaningful services and services for their adult child. Since this service is 100% customized, we can serve people with a wide range of disabilities.

Providing person-centered supports to adults with developmental disabilities to live rich, fulfilling lives within their community. Every deserves to live valued lives as members of their communities. - Providing transitional supports into our services. A personalized assessment is conducted before direct support services are received. Ensuring all generic resources are used efficiently and effectively.- Upon entering SLS services we: *Find appropriate housing. *Recruit and match staff with person receiving services. *Create living environments that reflect the individual's wants, interests and needs. *Support individual to build relationships in the community. This can lead to volunteer or employment opportunities. *Attend medical appointments and provide advocacy when needed. *Review and reflect on supports being provided to ensure it reflects the medical, mental, and physical needs of the person. Direct supports are constantly growing and changing.The living services we get to provide are the most progressive in our service field. It allows people to be who they want to be and break through the glass ceiling hovering over them. Everyone has strengths, gifts and talents, regardless of disability. Allow them to share it.
