I am a member at ALWANE-Palestine Committee. as a recognition of my commitment to social change and community activism, as well as I am committed to the advancement of women’s leadership.Job Description and main responsibilities:· Attend and participate in monthly Country Committee meetings;· Establish a detailed work plan and meeting schedule that will regularly bring together allCountry Committee Members;· Attend and participate in the two-day sub-regional meeting and/or two-day regional Summiton the Advancement of Women's leadership in the region;· Participate in a mentorship program as a mentee of a leader/expert in your Committee andcommunicate at least twice per month with your mentor;· Develop and implement advocacy action plan to raise awareness of gender issues identifiedby your Committee by methods including networking, posting blogs and contributing to thecoalition’s website;· Assist in the drafting of the country- specific status report including policyrecommendations;· Assist in the coordination and development of strategic plan for dissemination of yourCommittees findings, policy recommendations and final report at the country level incollaboration with your fellow Country Committee members and the regionalPR/Communications firm;· Ensure targets are being met in your mentorship through regular communication andreporting with your Country Officer, youth partner and mentor;· Seek potential partners and funders for future committee projects.
