It also helped me improve my customer service skills and would often get happy when customers rate my service with a smiley face!

Skills I acquired at Gardens By The Bay- Cashier- Visual merchandising- Interacting with tourists- Replenishing- Stock taking• Always loved interacting with tourists• My internship at Gardens by the Bay gift shop was a great experience• Met people from Korea, Japan, Australia, Taiwan, and many other places• Helped the tourists there better understand me due to the language barriers• Used hand signs and broke down words for them to understand me better• Got to pick up a few simple languages from the tourists while working there which was the best part!To engage with travelers from all over the world was a pleasant experience, and I made sure to provide the best level of service to make their trip in Singapore a good and memorable one.

Skills I acquired at Sushi Tei- Muti tasking- Taking orders- Preparations of food- Serving customers• Huge Sushi lover! felt like a dream being able to work at a Sushi restaurant• It was my first part-time job and working in an F&B outlet• Learned how to serve customers, take orders • Even got the opportunity to make Sushi by myself which was so exciting to me• Learned how to work as a team, especially during busy work hours when we had to come together to get things done efficientlyGetting to work at Sushi Tei was great as I got to do things outside my comfort zone and learn new skills as well as getting a sense of what working outside would be like. Overall, it was a good first part-time job experience.
