Subash is the founder at RE Journal - a research and data analytics platform on real estate. He is having over 17 years of experience in the field of real estate research and advisory. Before starting RE Journal, Subash worked at Colliers where he was responsible for the business development for the valuation and advisory practices in India. He guided the team for the execution and delivery of assignments to clients.Subash has worked at JLL for about 15 years in the Research division and was responsible for JLL’s subscription-based research offering – Real Estate Intelligence Service (REIS) for India. Delivering quality real estate data/insights, client servicing, business development and team management among others have been his key responsibilities at JLL Research. Analyzing city's real estate dynamics, primary research, demand-supply projections, price trend and forecast for India’s office, retail and residential sectors are some of the areas where he has supported investors, developers and other industry stakeholders for more than a decade.Apart from Indian real estate, he has also contributed towards research process and forecasting approach for other markets in Asia. With an Economics (Hons), PhD in statistics and econometrics modelling, he specializes in real estate market forecasting with the use of quantitative methods. He has contributed to numerous research publications including topical whitepapers, thought leadership reports, periodic releases during his tenure at JLL. He was chosen as the “Insight Driven Champion” in 2019 to participate in The JLL Way Campaign – an initiative towards company’s branding.Prior to JLL, Subash had worked in an investment advisory firm - Roulac India Investment Advisory for one year. Before that he had worked on various economic research projects carried out by RBI, UNDP and UGC, Govt of India for about 2 years. He has visited JNTU Hyderabad, NMIMS Mumbai for teaching economics and data science students in the past for a short tenure.
