I am a material scientist with expertise in large area graphene and 2D materials synthesis. With years of experience in TEM, I've studied metal-carbon interaction during graphene formation in nano-scale. At the Cambridge Graphene Center, I have worked on large-scale growth of 2D materials, including graphene, hexagonal boron nitride, and transition metal dichalcogenides. My doctoral research involved synthesizing high-quality graphene from waste plastic using CVD, along with pioneering work on controlling hBN crystal morphology. I have a keen interest in battery and energy storage, and I have successfully developed a technique to achieve atomic-level resolution of individual Li atoms without the use of cryogenic conditions in transmission electron microscopy. I have a proven track record of leadership and supervision, and I am a highly innovative and logical thinker with excellent scientific reasoning skills that I can apply to complex industrial situations. I am an energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, and adaptable professional, always willing to learn new skills and techniques to advance my expertise in the field of material science.
