As an experienced development education professional with over 35 years of experience, I have led numerous international educational projects, including the International Climate Challenge project (funded by Barclays Bank )and the Gardens for Life project (coordinated by the Eden Project and funded by the Syngenta Foundation). With my PhD in Education for Sustainable Development and Climate Change, I am a recognized expert in the field of development education and sustainability.In addition to my project leadership experience, I am also a certified MBSR coach, which has allowed me to develop several programs that have reached over 1000 teachers, students, and parents. I am passionate about promoting well-being and mindfulness in education, and I believe that these practices can have a positive impact on both individuals and society as a whole.I have trained over 10,000 teachers in India, the UK, Nepal, and Kenya, and I am committed to developing effective and engaging curricula that inspire students to become active agents of change in their communities. As a consultant for several schools in India and the UK, I have helped to implement innovative educational approaches that promote sustainable development and climate action.My contributions to education have been widely recognized, and in 2009, I was listed in the Who's Who of Climate Change in India. I am also proud to have developed India's first proprietary climate change curriculum in 2010, which was implemented in over 200 schools, junior colleges, and high schools across India, the UK, and Kenya.With my expertise in development education, sustainability, and well-being, I am excited to take on new challenges.
