Working with an international non-profit firm to ensure the smooth running of their overseas office by providing human resource management functions, program planning, and implementation services, compliance with overseas laws and regulations, data analysis, monitoring and evaluation services, and recommendations for growth and development of partnership between the firm and their overseas partners.

This is a volunteer position and also done remotely.DUTIES• Planning and Sustainability Skills- Analyse the organization’s spending on community fish cage projects and monitoring of rescued trafficked children to provide a template for annual budgets.- Supervise the monitoring arrangements of rescued trafficked children to reduce cost of monitoring and encourage responsibility of families. This is also helping the organization to cope with funding challenges as a result of Covid-19.- Work closely with all staff to identify training needs, and plan and organize training to fulfill those needs. - Plan and implement livelihood empowerment programs. For instance, remotely planned and supervised a business training module in Ghana for 50 potential entrepreneurs from impoverished communities by a US Team of business investors. 3 participants were successfully sponsored and being mentored by the US Team.• Leadership, Communication and Partnership Skills- Prepare and present annual performance reports of activities in Ghana to stakeholders.- In charge of the organisation’s partnership with other relevant organisation’s fighting against child trafficking.- Represent the organization in external stakeholder meetings and communicate relevant information to the staff, the CEO and Board of Directors when necessary.- Performs staff appraisals of all Ghanaian staff together with other managers when necessary.- Supervise the implementation of the community fish cage business which has helped increased the organization’s presence and partnered communities by 40 percent since 2020.• Financial Management- Process salaries, social security and taxes of 16 staff members every month.- Monitor all financial expenditure of activities in Ghana to make sure it is cost-effective and in line with the budget.

- Administer sponsorship foreign aid program growth plans for Chalice intermediary organizations, in line with organizational directives, and provide oversight to Chalice intermediary organizations as they follow and execute those plans. - Prepare and communicate regular feedback to Chalice intermediary organizations on foreign aid program administration. - Receive, review, and provide information for onward transmission to over 6,000 donors of the Chalice child sponsorship program to maintain and build a strong and healthy relationship with donors.- Collaborate with international operations program managers to provide coaching and training to Chalice intermediary organizations on the implementation of foreign aid programs. - Work as part of the regional program team to identify areas to strengthen foreign aid programs. - Review, collate, and analyze program data to communicate findings about foreign aid programs to other departments. - Coordinate information to facilitate the organizational development of policies and foreign aid programs. - Develop new tools and processes to effectively oversee international development programs. - Prepare materials and providing content about international development programs for other departments within Chalice. - Liaise between the International Department and IT Department to develop and improve the beneficiary and donor relationship database systems of Chalice.- Act as the support person/first point of contact for the International Department and Chalice overseas partners on any challenges related to the organization’s beneficiary database.

• Administrative Skills- Uploaded and organized syllabi and timetable online for easy access by students and tutors.- Updated the department website and academic online platform (Brightspace).

• Research Skills- Search and review the literature on Agric technology, Agriculture Value Chain and Gender in Africa.- Provide feedback to my Research Supervisor on progress using MS Office and Teams.

I support new immigrants to Canada to learn more about their community and practice their English Language skills.

• Presentation and Facilitation Skills- Successfully organized weekly tutorials for at least 2 classes through presentations and facilitation of class discussions.• Analytical Skills- Successfully graded essays of approximately 80 students per term and provided feedback, guidance and counselling to students when required.- Provided reports and suggestions to tutors on content of lectures and concerns of students.• Leadership, Guidance and Knowledge of Canada’s FIAP- Guided about 50 students to successfully complete a grant writing assignment according to the guidelines of the Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy.

Note: The employment type from January 2018 to December 2019 was volunteering.DUTIES• Planning and Sustainability Skills- Worked closely with other managers to successfully analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the organization’s plans for rescuing trafficked children using a modified SWOT analysis, which helped the organization to over-achieve its target of rescues for the year 2020.• Organising Skills- Introduced timelines for most of the organization’s activities which encouraged staff to work hard to achieve certain goals and also helped in planning the organization’s activities for the short term to long term.- Developed and implemented an hour log system in 2018 to track activities of 16 staff members, which helped the organization to restructure staff activities and save the cost of hiring 2 additional staff every year.• Financial Management- Developed a transparent financial reporting system using Google sheets, which helped track and analyze all expenditures of the organization. This improved the budgeting system and reduced expenditure by 30 percent the year after its introduction.• Monitoring and Evaluation Skills- Evaluated the performance of the organization against its monthly, quarterly and annual goals. Evaluation reports and recommendations were made available to the Directors and formed the basis of plans, goals and procedures for the organization.- Developed and implemented a monitoring and evaluation online form using Google forms to track the educational and behavioural progress of over 100 reintegrated trafficked children and the empowerment of their families.- Educated over 10 fishing communities on child rights and trafficking.- Facilitated the partnership of the organization with 5 fishing communities.- Significantly contributed to the rescue of over 40 trafficked children.

Assited in implementation of Mental Health and Development Project in selected districts in Ashanti Region.
