Subhadip works as Vice President - Legal and Corporate Affairs, in Cognizant Technology Solutions and has more than 2 decades of experience working in diverse industries with successful record of leadership accomplishment in both products and services industries in multiple technology and functional domains. As a part of the Legal and Corporate Affairs Group and Senior Leadership Team at Cognizant, Subhadip works very closely with the different members of the Executive Leadership and Board of Directors to spearhead various critical legal and corporate affairs projects and programs of the company. Subhadip through his strong technical, legal and management academic background brings in blend of Technical, Business, Strategic and Operational experience to solve complex cross border, multi- functional business problems and commercial deals. In his current role, Subhadip spearheads and manages operational and advisory oversight on various Legal and Corporate Affairs processes and operations, including global legal, commercial contracting, Intellectual Property and Technology licensing/commercialization, corporate affairs operations, governance and strategy and India Government and external Affairs. He works closely with executive management and Board members on providing advisory on various matters relating to operations and governance, HR and employment, IP licensing, risk and compliance, policy formation, external affairs to drive Company’s growth and mitigate risks etc. Subhadip is also the Board Member of Asia Pacific companies and is also part of various strategic committees for the Company to drive special corporate programs. Subhadip’s previous experiences include technology development and project management, compliance and risks, client acquisition, business delivery and sales, incubating new business practices and large scale project management.Subhadip is a well renowned speaker internationally and is frequently invited to speak at several industry forums, national and international conferences. He has been credited with several research papers and articles/book chapters in national and international journals/conference / books, including a granted U.S. patent. He is an active player in the national committee of various Government and Private Bodies in India. Subhadip has also won several National and International accolades in areas of technology, IP management, Leadership Excellence, operations and strategy.
