Brief about the Project :-Name: AIIMS Jammu (Phase 1)Location: Vijaypur , Distt. Samba, J&KTotal Land Area: 9,18,058.53 sq. m (91.8 hectares)Proposed Ground coverage area: 44,806.87 sqmProposed FAR Area: 1,94,458.17 sqmProposed Height: 33.4 metersType of Construction: Hospital block, Academics block, Auditorium , Residential Complex ,Sports Complex and other amenities on EPC mode.Budget: The budget for the phase 1 of the project is Rs 1254 crores (approx.)The site of AIIMS JAMMU is divided into two parts- North Parcel and South Parcel. This is because the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway passes through the construction site .The North Parcel consists of 13 buildings including Hospital Block, Academics Block, Ayush, Auditorium, Animal Shelter, etc. and South Parcel Consists of 27 buildings/towers including Residentialblocks, Hostels, Sports complexes, Stadium and other amenities.Learning From the Training :• I have done my entire Training in South Parcel.• Learned about different drawings of particular building and how to read.1. Architectural Drawings ( Floor Plan, Elevation – A, B, C, D).2. Structural Drawings ( Column Layout Plan, Column Schedule / R/F details, Floor Framing Plan, Beam Framing Plan, Beam R/F details, Slab framing plan and R/F details, Staircase plan and R/F details).• Learned how to check and then supervised the Form work, Column layout and reinforcement, Beam reinforcement, Slab reinforcement and Staircase reinforcement.• Learned how to check the reinforcement of ( Column, Beam, Slab, Staircase) with the help of BBS (Bar Bending Schedule).• Calculated the concrete quantity required for Column, Beam, Slab and Staircase.• Calculated the Quantity Analysis of ( Level Plaster, Gypsum Plaster, Granite, Kotta Stone, Tiles , ACC Block, Bricks and GRC Panels etc.).It is a wonderful learning experience at “AIIMS JAMMU” Vijaypur (J&K) India for the Period of four Months (1 Mar, 2022 to 30 June, 2022) industrial training.
