Part of the Corporate Tax Team (CTT) at McKinsey & Co. Primarily responsible for financial reporting, transfer pricing, auditing and tax compliances of various McKinsey offices spread all over the world. The role extends to - 1. Managing corporate tax administration and compliance, corporate tax planning, inter-company charges and transfer pricing compliance required in the region as per local tax regulations. 2. Working with the Big 4 Tax advisors and Audit teams across the globe for tax return filing and audit of financial statements as per the applicable financial reporting framework (IFRS, Local GAAP, etc.) >Ensured smooth transition from Oracle to SAP while preparation of the financial statements for CY 2023.>Gained practical exposure to areas like Cash & Cash Equivalents, Receivables, Payables, Advances, Leases, Employee Compensation, WIP, Expenses, RPTs and Other Assets and Liabilities.>Assisted on analyzing the withholding tax implications and PE risks while setting up a new project by analyzing international tax treaties.>Worked on the financial reporting and taxation compliances of the Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Ukraine and Puerto Rico offices of McKinsey.>Worked on reconciliation of the management and taxation books, prepared Balance Sheet schedules and audit schedules and passed adjustment entries to enable true and fair view.>Got the books of accounts audited by the external statutory auditors for the aforementioned McKinsey offices. Collaborated with the tax advisors (Big 4) for finalization of the Corporate Tax Returns. >Prepared Form 8865 (US) using the CorpTax Software for 28 McKinsey partnerships. This included preparing data for Schedules B,L, K, M-1, M-2, N, and other relevant schedules of Form 8865.>Prepared the Local and Master File as a part of International Transfer Pricing Compliance. >Prepared the Inter-Company Settlement Reports, and coordinated with the Local Offices for enabling settlements as per the cash position.

I worked in Walker Chandiok, which is the Indian arm of Grant Thornton LLP- Independently conducted Inventory Audit and Fixed Assets Review assignments at various clients of Automobile Industry by applying Floor-to-Sheet and Sheet-to-Floor as the audit procedure. Further, discussed the variances found and suggested improvements to the management thereby adding value to overall credibility of clients.- Gained practical exposure to various audit methodologies during substantive testing and work paper documentation in areas like Cash & Cash Equivalents, Payables, Advances, Investments, Expenses, and Other Assets and Liabilities. Assisted the engagement teams and worked closely with senior auditors at engagements across several industries like Real Estate, FMCG, Airport, Hospitality, Automobile OEMs, and Manpower Services.- Tested and reviewed internal controls against prescribed process flows as per the Risk and Control Matrix (RACM) as a part of reporting on Internal Financial Controls of a very well-known chain of hospitals and suggested improvements in the processes to the management, thereby adding value to the overall chain of hospitals.

I worked under the marketing department of the society. But my learnings were not restricted to Marketing related stuff. Rather, I got various insights about the domain of entrepreneurship. I was a part of the team, which worked to organise the annual flagship event of the society. I compered one of the events of the annual event. I also made contributions in organising various other events held throughout the year.
