This country leadership role, reporting to the Country Director, is pivotal in driving programme development and partnerships while providing strategic and technical guidance. The role involves establishing and managing effective partnerships, ensuring the integration of social inclusion, gender, human rights, safeguarding, and governance issues across programmes in alignment with UPB's country strategic plan. Core responsibilities include leading strategic planning and programme development, fostering partnerships and resource mobilisation, and collaborating with Programme Heads and UP Head Office's Global Programme and Partnership Development Team. The role also leads partnership building with local and national NGOs and Civil Society Platforms/Networks, coordinating with programme and support function leads, overseeing monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes, and ensuring the alignment of operational and strategic partnership approaches. Additionally, the role manages the ICT and Communications Unit, coordinates with donors and funders, ensures timely reporting to donors and government authorities, and leads the Country Resource Mobilisation Team (RMT).
