I am a researcher and engineer specializing in the field of ocean engineering, with a focus on offshore wind energy and seismic analysis. I currently serve as a Guest Researcher at the Department of Engineering Sciences at the University of Agder in Norway, where I am involved in calibrating shutdown systems for offshore wind turbines during seismic events. My work aims to develop multi-objective optimal shutdown strategies to enhance structural safety in offshore wind turbines under seismic loads. My doctoral research (at IITM) aims to detail the seismic load effects on utility-scale offshore wind turbines under operational and shutdown scenarios, employing reliability-based methods. Additionally, I am engaged in developing metocean environmental contours for offshore wind farms off the coast of India. Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have undertaken numerous projects focusing on structural reliability, machine learning-based surrogate models, dynamic response analysis, and seismic design of structures. I possess a diverse skill set, including MATLAB, Python, C++, and LATEX proficiency and expertise in offshore-industry tools such as OpenFAST, SESAM Genie, and USFOS. I am well-versed in various offshore wind and oil standards by IEC, DNV, and API and structural reliability tools (FERUM), further enhancing my capabilities in research and analysis. Outside my academic and professional pursuits, I actively engage in extracurricular activities. I maintain a passion for sports, notably cricket, where I have been an active member of the IITM Cricket Team for the last 2 years. At present, I am a member of Hisoy Cricket Club for Division 3 Cricket games in the Norway Cricket League.
