The axis of Indonesia's counter-terrorism approach is still predominantly hardening the power of investigation and punishment rather than strengthening community programs to address the root causes.The reality is that no one is born a terrorist.Terrorism arises from the relationship between individuals with their surroundings or broader society. Their anger triggers many by constantly experiencing increased frustration from political and social obstruction.Viewing the phenomenon of terrorism as a result of learned behaviour and evolutionary change is essential to understanding the root causes of terrorism. Not just based on ideological or religious motivations.During two years living in Australia, I was amazed by the multiculturalism practised by Melbourne people in Victoria. All communities, including immigrants, receive the same treatment and guarantees from the government. Inter-ethnic marriages, low unemployment rates, and increased welfare contribute to low social tensions and high social order.I am passionate and interested in working with people focused on strengthening community relations to address the root causes of social problems such as terrorism and social tensions.In addition, my expertise includes three years of experience as a social media and system analyst. I developed and managed Laporgub, integrating it with SP4N/LAPOR! to be a Central Java comprehensive complaint handling management system. Also, I was one of the founders of the Gusdurian Community Semarang and a member of the Interfaith Brotherhood. We were focused on strengthening relations between people from different backgrounds, religions, and races.
