Electrical testing and Final inspection of products manufactured in ATS section. Liasing with Design engineers and wireman to resolve any issues during manufacture and testing.Testing carried out with voltage upto 400V AC.Marking and drilling of backplates . Fitting trunking & components to General Arrangement drawings.Wiring components to Electrical schematic diagrams.Use of hand tools. Working alone or within a team and liasing with Engineers.

Fitting and wiring of electric control panels to customer schematic diagrams. Assembly of connectors and plugs to assembly drawings. Stripping and crimping of cables using hand / air stripping and crimping tools

Visual inspection of finished panels. Check wiring to electrical schematic diagrams and ensure correct instruments have been fitted Ensure wiring is of the correct rating and colour also noting the quality of the crimping. Full inspection of busbar system with dielectric,insulation, functional tests of instruments fitted and recording of results .Carry out modfications as required. Consult Design engineers & operatives as and when required. Panels worked on with voltage upto 415V AC and 110v DC and included Siemens MCC with profibus, Cubic Fastech, Smart PDU's and Auto Change/over panels with Deepsea control unit.

Ensuring that all bought out and in house made components complied with drawings. Arranging corrective action on reject work, maintaining filling system ,recording of inspection results and arranging calibration of inspection/testing equipment. Dealing with customers over phone and face to face.Testing ,fitting and wiring of control panels to schematic / General Arrangement diagrams. Functional tests of equipment fitted . Fault finding on live board and prepairing panels for customer witness testing. Use of hand held mechanical and electrical tools.

Patrol Inspector. Undertaking first-off, in-process and last of of inspection of components and assemblies. Arranging corrective action for defective work. Fitter. Assembling and wiring of low voltage panels to Customer Specifications.Electrical Test Engineer. Full type testing to British standards ,surveying selected products on a monthly basis to ensure products complied with quality control. Investigating customer returns and compiling detailed reports on finding.Laboratory Technician. Testing of incoming electronic components, recording of results, maintain filling systems of record cards and drawings.

Working within the community under the direction of the maintence fitter. Carrying out in house repairs .
