• Part of Migration and Transformation Team.• DC Exits Migrations from Old Data center to new data center.• Collecting the data ( list of servers) from the command center for the next wave ( weekend)• I was Responsible for Procurement of new storage devices, Implementation, Planning for data migration from Old storage devices to the new devices was a major part of the project • Migration of Data through Storage replication technologies like SRDF. • The Migration and transition was completed smoothly without any outages and issues• Doing the prechecks for the servers in the wave, Preparing the plan for the migration activity.• Raising a change for the weekend and getting the approvals if there is any replicated (R1 or R2) SAN is connected to the servers.• Executing the plan on the weekend in the change window after getting confirmation from the other teams.• Co-ordinating with the other teams like datacenter team, networking team, application team, database team, unix or wintel team, migration managers and command center for the successful completion of the migration activity for that particular wave.• Successfully completed on DC exit project and right now part of second DC project in US region and under the process successful completion.
