A passionate engineer self-motivated and creative thinker, with significant experience in new product development of electromechanical products. A specialist in handling projects remotely with excellent time management skills, aiming to deliver projects on time. Highly focused on developing the product designs for sustainable manufacturing. Used to being part of a diverse global team. TECHNICAL SUMMARYPlastic Component Design; Sheet Metal Design; Additive Manufacturing Techniques;Injection Molding Techniques; Machining Techniques; Surface Plating Techniques;Product Validation & Testing; FMEA and GD&T; CAD- Creo and CAE- Ansys mechanical;2D Drawing Creation; Design for Manufacturing; Safety Agency Approvals; Tolerance Stack up Analysis; Material Selection; Laboratory SkillsKEY SKILLS AND ACHIEVEMENTSProduct Development• From my hands on experience with machine tools, mold & die making skills, I have successfully developed several products minimising the manufacturing and process related risks which enabled in reducing manufacturing costs & quicker go to market.• My first and the largest project in revenue, >$60 M, was an electromechanical product had a complex design for molding which I successfully tackled and launched for production on time.Innovation• Strong focus on innovating new ideas which attracts customer’s interest towards the product. Refer to patents section.Risk Mitigation• Always aimed to qualify the product as the first time right. I will extensively use the FMEA method to mitigate risks. My recent development project, a large family of connector products, has been fully tested and certified for both IEC and UL specifications in 1st attempt.Analytical Thinking• Worked on several quality concerns raised by customers for which I was successful in finding root cause for the problem and providing permanent solutions.Leading Cross-Functional Teams• I am remotely located in the UK, away from the main team based in Netherlands. I run the project almost autonomously by working directly with sales, product management, manufacturing team, vendors, and external test labs. All these teams are located globally. Value Addition - Value Engineering• Involved in many cost saving initiatives to meet the yearly target for saving revenue from price erosions. Some of my actions taken are reducing use of precious metals for surface coatings, using regrind resin, optimizing design to reduce cycle time, etc.
