Dr. Subhash C. Singh is a Senior scientist at Institute of Optics, University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, USA. He received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from the University of Allahabad, India in 2009. Prior to joining the University of Rochester, Dr. Singh was an IRCSET-EMPOWER Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dublin City University, Ireland for two years and DST-SERB Young Scientist at University of Allahabad, India for three years. Dr. Singh has more than 14 years of research experience in a wide range of field including laser material processing and manufacturing, laser produced plasmas, nanomaterials, spectroscopy, and energy harvesting and saving. He has published more than 100 research articles in high IF refereed journals and conference proceedings with over 6300 citations and 39 H-index. His current research interest includes development of materials for solar-thermal water sanitation, space and electronic cooling, solar and thermal energy harvesting and energy storage. Dr. Singh served as editors for Wiley-VCH book “Nanomaterials; Processing and characterization with lasers” and CRC handbook of Laser Science and Technology (Second Edition). He also served as guest editor for special issues of many journals and currently Editorial board member of Reactions (MDPI publications).
