Developed novel, reusable & sustainable plasma-spray coated catalysts for catalytic wet oxidation treatment of organic waste in collaboration with Holster NZ.Writing a detailed literature review for the last 60 years of research in the catalytic wet oxidation field.Designed a fixed catalytic system for maximum output and achieved the best results using minimum and/or inexpensive resources.Reusable bespoke catalysts with excellent performance managed to reduce the reaction temperature by 50 °C compared to noncatalytic reactions with drastic improvement in reaction rate.Extracted high-value VFAs as by-products in high percentage, with maximum degradation of waste materials and conversion of organics into carbon dioxide.Single-handedly designed and performed all experimental work, along with all qualitative & quantitative sample analysis and statistical data analysis. Developed inexpensive silicon carbide, zirconium titanate, and silicon dioxide-based ceramic processed materials for diesel particulate filters used in cars.Studied reaction chemistry of inexpensive ceramic oxide materials with the addition of surfactants of different chain lengths and implemented direct foaming technology to fabricate porous ceramic materials.Successful Silicon carbide-based porous ceramic product developed with very high mechanical strength and negligible inclusions in record deadline.Published 10 research articles as first author in internationally recognised journals.Degradation of plastic materials was studied, mainly PLA linings in different food packaging materials in different reaction media under various reaction conditions.Reaction analysis performed with destruction of packaging materials completed successfully.Project deadline was met in a record timeline with successful supervision and training of students across the laboratory.Highly skilled performance with solo project handling capability achieved.
