The 8 years of work experience in Oil India Limited has helped me develop skills in varied dimensions and has helped me think beyond the conventional. The following points describe my achievements and the spheres where I have worked in these 3 years and I feel I can work efficiently if not expertly. 1) Seismic 2D and 3D acquisition parameter designing and subsequent simulation in different software (eg. Mesa, Geoland etc.)2) Building geological models with a given set of geological and geophysical inputs followed by a full fledged ray trace modelling using software like Mesa and Petrocaem.3) Onshore seismic data acquisition using recording instruments like Sercel 428 XL and SN 388.4) Management of the seismic data acquisition crew from the dog house.5) Real time seismic data QC including checking and correction for various kind of noises, layout errors, source positioning errors etc.6) Preparation of SPS (Shell processing support formats) prior to data acquisition and subsequent updating of the SPS for various kinds of changes after recording.7) Preliminary processing of the acquired seismic data (generally up to stacking after one phase of velocity picking).8) Acquisition and processing of GPS data in the differential mode.9) Well acquainted with the functions of a Total Station and using the instrument for Control and Implantation surveys.10) Acquisition of LVL and Uphole survey data.All the jobs mentioned above ensure compliance of PESO’s Explosive Act, Company’s HSE policies and Standard Operating Procedure with best practices.11) Seismic Data Processing from Sept 2013 to present. Experience in working with Omega Processing software for full suite of Time & Depth processing for both land and marine data.12) Familiar with Earth Model Building, mistie analysis and other utilities in petrel.
