• Led a team of engineers of NALCO and EIL for the expansion of Refinery and Mines.• Key point of contact for top management to liaise with consultant & suppliers for successful commissioning and handover of systems and equipments to Operation , coordination of teething problems resolution and delay analysis of contract closure etc.• Major refinery jobs involved Grading , Piling, installation of Rotating machines like Ball mills, Tankages, Piping, Structurals, Conveyors, Stacker Reclaimers, Crushers , Security Filtration, Drum filter, Pumps , Heat exchangers.• Completed a major mining work of SMCP (semi mobile crusher plant ) and 4.5 km long multi curved conveyor- FLDC ( fixed long distance conveyor) executed by THYSSEN KRUPP industries.

• Head of the Steam and Power Plant of Refinery. Responsible for Operation and Maintenance of 5 Boilers (200 tph 67 ata) and 4 TG sets (18.5 MW) including CHP,OHP, DMP and auxiliaries for a stable and steady steam and power supply to the Alumina refinery.• As Management Representative (MR), responsible for the Quality systems and OHSAS systems.

Started my career in ACC Babcock Ltd Durgapur as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1981.August. Had gone into the total gamut of design,fabrication ,erection,machining,commissioning , operation and project management for boilers up to 220 MW of B&W design. Had erection and commissioning experiences in KTPS Kolaghat and DPL Durgapur.
