• Preparing the Quality Assurance Plan for any product which is being manufactured on the shop floor• Ensuring all the inspection activities are being carried out as per the QAP laid out and also monitoring of the inspection activities performed by the engineers. Having a daily one to one meeting with all junior engineers in order to know the work that is being performed and if any difficulties are being faced.• Witnessing of LPT and RT on the shop floor from time to time and as per requirements. Reviewing and validation of RT films as obtained from third party vendor.• Witnessing the Hydro Test and Pneumatic Test of all the heat exchangers and the pressure vessels from time to time.• Validation and cross checking of any inspection documents that are prepared by the junior engineers.• Validation of the Material Test Certificates of the raw materials which are received from vendors.• Analyzing the welding efficiency of all the welders quarterly based on RT rejections, LPT rejections and Visual Rejections• Preparing the WPS and WPQ of all related welding procedures and that of the welders. Ensuring the validation of all required documents annually.• Coordination with customers and third party inspection for carrying out inspection at shop floor as per QAP.• Carrying out random inspection at raw material supplier’s end for vendor evaluation and validation. • Development of new vendors for raw material supply in coordination with the procurement department.• Getting feedbacks from customers and from on site engineers regarding the improvement that can be done on products and further working on Quality Aspects for continuous improvement of our products.• Carrying out RCA and preparing CA PA for any issues faced at site or shop floor.• Organizing interactive learning session with junior engineers whereby they are constantly trained and informed on different aspects of manufacturing and how to better the overall work process.
