An executive team member for a $800M region, I am responsible for facilitating the achievement of business objectives by enabling revenue growth, increasing profitability and maximising return on working capital. I support financial and business strategy development and execution across markets, while localising approaches to address regional dynamics and market nuances. Owning end-to-end finance, I led monthly close and yearly accounting, overseeing tax and transfer pricing compliance, FX hedging and working capital management, while providing strategic insight and advice to the MD of ANZ and the wider senior leadership team. • Facilitated 24% growth for ANZ, partnering with the MD and cross functional teams to drive improvements in pricing, credit assessments and levers impacting margin;• Increased operating margin by 4%, reducing costs through optimisation of functions and rationalisation to lower cost locations;• Delivered a number of other working capital benefits, including a days sales outstanding reduction by 5-7 days, and the efficiency of collections by 7% through continuous process and systems improvements.

Reporting to the Global Finance Director, I was recruited to lead the due diligence, financial evaluation, planning and definition of a new operating model of a potential acquisition, while also leading BAU finance for the region across month-end, working capital, P&L, FP&A and intercompany billing/accounting. Throughout I collaborated with advisers, and US teams including tax, and corporate finance and the big 4 consulting firms on the integrity of the planned acquisition. • Led the evaluation of a potential acquisition including due diligence and business model evaluation; • Implemented a CAPEX monitoring system that enabled greater governance and demonstrated value return.

Senior finance role reporting to CFO for Asia and MD for India, I was engaged to support the business to grow by over 50%. I maximised financial performance, profitability and return on working capital through improved governance and effective commercial business partnering to achieve strategic ambitions. I implemented BI tools to access data and built bench strength for financial planning and analysis while leading a team of 7, increasing their customer service orientation and business partnering capability. I managed financial and management accounting activities, reporting and analysis, treasury management and managed all banking relationships.
