Dr. Subrata Naskar is a renowned neuropsychiatrist currently practising in south Kolkata. For last 8 years he has been treating patients with various mental illnesses with compassion and care for which he has received the love and respect of his patients and their families. He passed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MBBS) from Calcutta National Medical Collge & Hospital, Kolkata, following which he took his training in general Psychiatry (M.D) from Silchar Medical College. There he underwent rigorous training in treating patients with various psychopathologies namely schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder etc. Working in the north eastern part of India where substance abuse is a major hazard he got extensive exposure in working in deaddiction programmes for patients with various substance abuse. He also took special training in neurology from Gauhati Medical College treating patients with various neuropsychiatric problems. Following that he attended the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS, Bangalore), an institute of national importance and recieved training in child & adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and family therapy. Following which, he practiced as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata for almost 6 years. He has numerous research papers published in national as well as international journals. Currently he is the founder and Director of Snayubikshan - Neuropsychiatry & Endocrinology Wellness Centre.
