A proud Adivasi, a traditional honey hunter, now a founding member of a trade that empowers my community and me. My journey as a honey hunter began 15 years ago in the heart of Nilgiris. My responsibilities radically evolved once I started working with Just Change to enable the Paniya, Mullakurumba, Bettakurumba and Kattunayakan tribes to be an empowered force within the market. Living in the heart of Nilgiris made nature kin to us. Across generations we have gathered honey and believed sharing to be the cornerstone of existence. We leave the first share of the honeycomb for the bears and elephants. We keep a small share for our families, and bring your share, ‘The Third Share’ to you. All the products of this range are exemplary of this philosophy and are sustainably collected or grown.We are true to nature and that has been one of the pillars of our trade. We bring you the forest’s natural produce as it is. From packaging to sales of ‘The Third Share’, I oversee all the processes of this product range.
