Key Accomplishments:• Detect security and policy lapses in terms of wrong policy configurations using machine learning for historical access logs. Developed an efficient algorithm to mine the access logs and detect users with wrong access information. The system throws out these details with a confidence value so that security administrator can take effective measures. • Leverage Machine Learning to help Tyco estimate the labour cost associated with building inspections. Estimating the number of hours required to inspect a building is a tedious manual task. However if converted to a machine learning problem, computer and achieve surprisingly highly accurate estimates. This project involves building such a machine learning system to predict the number of hours required to inspect a given building for fire alarms.• Identify and reduce user induced interactions leading to false alarms with intrusion panels. Map sequential patterns of event logs emerging from intrusion panel to user behaviour and create unique event signatures. Correlate these event signatures to false alarm and provide prescriptive maintenance advice.
