Necessary action was taken against the Officer/non-officer as per the rules of the Company.Educative Vigilance:1. Conducting Vigilance Awareness Programme/Seminars for Officers /Non-officers at regular interval.2. Organise Induction Programme for new lateral recruit’s officers at TSBSL.twice every month.3. Organise Vigilance Awareness Meet during Vigilance Awareness Week at Raw MaterialsDivision/Regional/Branch/Marketing Network offices in India.4. Conducting Work Shop/Seminar/Vigilance Awareness Programme, Slogan /Essay/Debate Competition within the Organisation, Making film on Vigilance Awareness and eradicate corruption within the organisation, Organise Road show to publish Vigilance Awareness Programme among the general public etc.Area Coverage As TSBSL is having multi-locational plant across India, we are visiting Delhi, Sahibabad, Meerut, Ludhiana, Gurugram in Northern India Mumbai, Khopoli, Aurangabad, Pune in Western India, Hosur, Bangalore in Southern India and Angul, Kolkata in Eastern India at regular interval.

Looked after the vigilance function of Kalinga Nagar Steel Plant, Sukinda ferrochrome mines, Joda Iron Ore Mines and Manganese Mines, Gomadi Dolomite Mines, Ferrochrome plant at Brahmanipal, Gopalpur, Athgarh and vigilance function of Tata Steel Subsidiary Companies like Tata Steel SEZ Ltd., TS Alloys Ltd, Tata Sponge Iron Ltd, Bhubaneswar Power Plant Pvt. Ltd etc. Developed the whistle blower network and network building with district administration, PoliceAdministration, Banks, etc. Patrolling during night in co-ordination with Security Deptt. officials to control un-ethical activities within the plant premises. Surprise Checks at various plant locations, Departments etc. without prior intimation. Conducted Vigilance Awareness Programme for Officers, Non-officers, MTs, Lateral joining, Contractual employees, Vendor employees, Subsidiary Companies employees at regular interval.

Looked after the vigilance function of Jamshedpur Steel Plant, Noamundi Iron Ore Mines, WestBokaro Coal Mines, Jharia Coal Mines, Tata Steel Subsidiary Companies like JUSCO, Tinplate India Ltd.,Jamipol, BlueScope, and other subsidiaries bases at Jharkhand. Developed the whistle blower network and network building with district administration, PoliceAdministration, Banks, etc. Patrolling during night in co-ordination with Security Deptt. officials to control un-ethical activities within the plant premises. Surprise Checks at various plant locations, Departments etc. without prior intimation. Conducted Vigilance Awareness Programme for Officers, Non-officers, MTs, Lateral joining, Contractual employees, Vendor employees, Subsidiary Companies employees at regular interval.

Vigilance Function• Conducting Vigilance inspection as per the Annual Inspection Programme finalized by CVO, BLL and submitting a detailed inspection report to CVO.• Identify the sensitive/corruption prone spots in the Organization and keep an eye on personnel posted in such areas.• Maintain proper surveillance on Officers of doubtful integrity. • Ensure prompt observance of conduct rules relating to integrity of the Officers, like• The Annual Property Returns;Administration & Public Relation Function• Handling the administrative arrangement in respect of the Company’s AGM, Board Meeting of the Company.• Interacting with the Sr. Officials of the Company and Govt Officials and making necessary administrative arrangements for them during their stay in Kolkata. • Conducting the Annual Sports, Annual Function, and Cultural Activities of the Company. • Act as the Public Relation Officer between the Company and Govt Departments,• Assisting GM (HR) in handling the Industrial Relations situation of both the factories of the Company.• Coordinating with the Local Police Authority to maintain a healthy Industrial relations situation in the Company.Legal Affairs• Coordinating with Company's lawyers in various cases and legal proceedings.• Drafting applications and replies in legal proceedings in Civil, Criminal Courts, etc. Arranging for necessary documentary and non-documentary evidences.• Following up Court cases, and legal proceedings advancing Company's interests.• Drafting of Petitions/Plaints/Agreements/MOUs. • Handling Arbitration Cases of the Company in accordance with the rules & regulations of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996.• Handling Contract related issues in various legal disputes of the Company in accordance with the rules & regulations of the Indian Contract Act, 1872.• Drafting of Powers of Attorney in favour of Senior Officials of the Company to exercise the power given to them by the Board from time to time.
