As an experienced educational media developer, I have spent the last 12 years honing my skills in digital design, UX/UI, and pedagogy, with the goal of supporting and enhancing student experiences. I have a strong understanding of current trends and established standards, focusing particularly on creating impactful media for post-secondary learners, with measurable value.The pace of change in post-secondary education is exciting, and I am thrilled to be part of the transformation. My experience designing digital simulations and my personal passion for illustration allow me to create realistic, vibrant, and engaging learning environments that help students to better understand complex concepts and ideas, providing both context and training time that would otherwise be out of reach to the learner. I am grateful to have had many opportunities to participate in the development of industry training products, allowing me to bring an increased depth of knowledge to creating digital twins for applied learning.In my current role at SAIT, I work closely with educators and industry professionals to develop digital media content that aligns with curricular goals and supports student learning.
