Principal Engineer at Snowflake.In Snap - I have been a part of migrating major workloads to AWS from GCP, migrating all of snap's main cache fleet and worked on realtime metrics / tooling. Then I was the uber tech lead for all of data analytics where in I oversaw the technical direction of petabyte per day level analytics. I was also a part of the snap architecture council overseeing technology decisions across the company. I also spent a year as a software engineer in Snap Labs software division shipping the first version of AR glasses. Now I am working on Snap Infrastructure - storage team. In this role, I am working on the next generation of backend platform after the cross cloud infrastructure: Snap owned Data Centers.In AWS, I was a part of the team that engineered highly replicated, highly available and highly durable database systems in AWS DynamoDB. My specialization was in storage engines, durability and availability. I contributed to other aspects as needs arose. I was also the technical lead of the team that launched DynamoDB Streams and cross region replication.In Amazon Kindle, I was with app team that dealt with curation/distribution/testing/selling/charging/delivering pipelines. Even before that, in Microsoft, I built features for the SQL CE storage engine, incubated a new storage engine, Shipped SFU as a program manager and worked on Windows System Resources Manager.
