My main goal as a volunteer was to give back to the community through championing financial literacy and financial sustainability to marginalized poor households in Mazowe district by providing them with methods that would assist them acquiring financial sustainability. The main focus was on facilitating income generating project on a small sustainable scale and the second step was to promote savings of that income generated in savings clubs in a bid to eradicate systemic poverty and HIV and AIDS.

• Credit analysis; analyzing the credit-worthiness of loan-seeking SMES and making lending recommendations;• Underwriting credit proposals, and presenting/motivating them at the relevant Credit Committee.• Appraising, critically analyzing and recommending applications to the Relationship Manager.• Administration of facilities; Loans, Bond registrations, Bankers’ Acceptances, Guarantees, Lease Hire;• Deposit mobilization;• Marketing of bank products to existing and prospective clients;• Maintaining and managing relationships between the Bank and various clients, and giving advisory services to clients;• Maintaining credit files (both hard copies and in electronic format) of counterparts in analyst’s portfolio in good order• Monitoring and Control: daily tracking of clients in excess to ensure they remain within agreed limits of facilities, periodic Interim Review of all borrowing facilities.• Attending to day to day queries and requests from clients.
