I am very passionate about the intricacies of the technology world, with the constant evolution of technology and the importance of data in today’s world has made me realize my passion in technology. I am currently pursuing a data science graduate degree at Northeastern University. To provide background on my experience so far, my journey in the tech world began with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University. This is where I developed a deep interest in cloud computing and data analysis. During my undergraduate degree, I was Head of Mozilla-SKNCOE where we worked towards sharing knowledge about open-source platforms and contributing in small open source projects and events like Oktoberfest which encourages participation in the open source community by collaborating with something small i.e. writing articles on tech or something huge i.e. implementing algorithms.Following my Bachelors degree, I started working as a Cloud Engineer at Flentas Technologies Pvt Ltd, Pune, India (a startup) from 2021-2023 as a cloud engineer, I handled cloud infrastructure for various sectors such as gaming, Finance, and mentioned more industries. I further gained experience in automating cloud systems using tools like Terraform and Docker, deploying CI/CD pipelines on AWS, and delivering optimized, cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs which made me interested in the area of analysis and making impactful decisions. Well equipped with this knowledge and looking to further expand. I decided to enroll in a master’s in Data Science degree at Northeastern University.During my time at Northeastern University, through my involvement as the Social Media Director at Khoury SHEROs of Color and Vice Chair at the NU Boston ACM-W Chapter, I am dedicated to fostering inclusive environments that empower underrepresented groups in technology. Moving forward, I aim to leverage my skills in data science and data analysis to create innovative solutions that not only solve real-world problems but also uplift and empower communities.In addition to my technical expertise, I have interest in education and mentoring. As a Teaching Assistant at Khoury College of Computer Sciences, I had the opportunity to mentor students in courses like Human-Computer Interaction and Discrete Structures, helping them navigate complex concepts and grow academically. This experience has further fueled my desire to contribute towards technology and education.
