Sudan kept me updated on how the assessment day was going to be ran, including the relevant details on the method of assessment, and so I did not feel lost at any point. On the assessment day, I lost connection during the practical activities and I was removed from the call. Initially, I feared that this was going to negatively affect the way I was being assessed. Sudan called me and remained on the line whilst I rejoined. She was very supportive and reassured me that my connection problems were not going to put me at a disadvantage. This was then reiterated by the assessors once I joined the call. I found this to reflect Sky’s supportive culture, which Sudan and the recruitment team emulated perfectly. A week after the assessment day, Sudan called me to inform me of the decision, and she also provided useful feedback. Sudan made the next steps clear, and provided frequent communication regarding the signing of contract.
