Work responsibilities:- CAD modelling and drafting of components & assemblies in accordance with AAM standards.- Check, study supplier components and record specifications for packaging and integration into the Product.- Perform tolerance stack-ups, apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5M-1995) on product drawings considering DFM & DFA.- Engineering release of 3D math, 2D drawing and bill of materials for development & production projects within PLM.- Design or re-design components as per inputs from customer, application & CAE.- Plan and communicate design timings, queries, CAD processes with global product, application and FEA team.- Preparation of 3D math data for Customer delivery for vehicle integration, FEA, CFD, LUBE STUDY and CMM.Projects and achievements:- Planned and led the team successfully to execute CAD release of 24 Prop shaft families for Fiat-Chrysler RAM HD Trucks, received appreciation from HQ team for prompt and quality delivery of packages per FCA standards.- Created Standard procedure/ instruction set for CAD deliverables of various Customers and their requirements.- Created Master drawing templates resulting reduced efforts/ time for new component, assembly drawings. - Performed tolerance stack-ups for DAF axles, Fiat Chrysler prop shafts, Ashok Leyland & Mahindra 40T rear axle.- Global design support on axles, RDM, PTU, Prop shafts for GM, FCA, Ford, DAF, Daimler.- Completed 3D modelling, assembly and 2D drawings of Sway bar for Chrysler passenger car.
