Post acquisition of Qubercomm by MaxLinear, I headed both the MaxLinear Chennai site as well as the overall WiFi SW teams across the globe. Working with teams across 5 different geographies from Chennai, Bangalore, Israel, Valencia, Taiwan and US, I led the software development for all things WiFi at MaxLinear across WiFi6, 6E and WiFi7. We are proud to have delivered top notch solutions to both service providers and operators. My focus was on:1. Building a cogent team across geographies2. Build good relationships with customers3. I help technology startups in areas of networking, wifi and enterprise security on product strategy, design and delivery.

The global WLAN lead for all mobile router productization using Qualcomm platforms(MDM9x25, MDM9x15 and MDM6600). This responsibility includes working with other Qualcomm technology teams, product management, program management etc to define the scope and feature set for WLAN, deliver the solution including product testing and work with customer engineering teams to ensure successful launch of all mobile router products that use Qualcomm platforms. A key accomplishment was the launch of our product with a top carrier(SoftBank Mobile) within one month of our releasing that product which involved not just the ability to execute internally, but to work with the product vendor(ZTE) who used our chipset to create the product and with the carrier(SBM) to ensure that all loose ends are tied and a smooth launch was possible. This team delivered the industry first productization of a mifi device operating in multi-channel concurrent mode. Leading a software development organization for wifi chipsets on mobile platforms. This team owns the development and delivery of drivers and firmware for a class of wifi chips that are on a wide range of smartphones, tablets and mobile routers. Took on the leadership role at a time when the team was lacking leadership, there were execution issues and challenges in the team and there were team morale issues. In a very short period of time, was able to turn things around in the team for better. Streamlined the execution capabilities by planning better and by providing the right level of coaching to the team. Made dramatic improvements toward building relationships with other teams and Geos.

Led a variety of teams in service provider and enterprise routing and switching at Cisco delivering high availability solutions across platforms.
