Dr. Sudeb Dalai, MD PhD, is a Stanford and MIT-trained Infectious Disease physician, scientist, and biotech industry leader. Dr. Dalai is an academic-industry hybrid with expertise in genomics, immunology, medical diagnostics, epidemiology and clinical trial design and execution. He currently provides Clinical Development leadership and expertise in the biotechnology sector for companies developing innovative diagnostic products. He has held previous leadership roles at Roche Diagnostics, Adaptive Biotechnologies, and Karius Diagnostics, and has a long track record of successful development and commercialization of multiple in vitro diagnostics.Dr. Dalai remains an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he has been a mentor and educator for over 20 years. His medical experience includes residency in Internal Medicine, fellowship in Infectious Diseases, and graduate / postdoctoral training in data science, genomics, immunology, epidemiology / clinical research studies, and international public health. Dr. Dalai holds degrees from Stanford, MIT, and UC Berkeley School of Public Health, and was elected to serve on the MIT Board of Trustees. He has received numerous teaching and leadership awards and research grants and has co-authored numerous publications. His work has been supported by the the National Institutes of Health, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and the Paul and Daisy Soros Foundation.
