I have set up and heading a brand new 3D printing facility and related processes at JFWTC. This new lab caters to design and testing needs. I specialize in both polymer based and metal additive manufacturing technologies. Exciting time working on this new disruptive technology.

Headed the Project Risk and Audit function and controlling projects through various Stage gate processes, right from proposal reviews through closure reviews. Also, switch hats to become consultant to contribute in solving various engineering and business problems.Headed the Corporate & strategy planning Function - developing and planning strategies for long term growth of the company.Was heading the project delivery team from 2004 till 2008. Grew the company from scratch to over 2MM$ and developed project execution processes through persistent building, planning and executing the business strategy. Formulated project delivery model and organization for the company. Managed over 150 projects during this period with a primary focus on customer satisfaction.Part of the core team of the company starting, from day one.

In the first couple of years, I was working on developing design and analysis tools for the development of Late lean Ignition based Gas Turbines using Six Sigma methods. Followed by smaller assignments on appliances Gas burners, flow path analysis of manifolds for Locomotive engines. During this period, i got a Green Belt in GE Six sigma. Last two years, i worked with GE's Consumer and Industrial arm. Executed many assignments related to design and fluid flow analysis of various appliances - like, refrigerators, dishwashers, self cleaning of electric and gas ovens and lighting applications - UV treament for Whole home water program for GE Appliances.Project on Dual Stacked Burner was most challenging one & idea developed to solve the challenge fetched a patent. This project, "Dual Flame Stacked Burner" was also quoted in Business Today, April 6, 2008 as one of the innovations of John F Welch Technology Center.Won many awards during this period for outstanding achievements.
