Coming into a senior role I was primarily involved in the migration of the legacy Objective-C code to Swift for our production apps. Over time the role of primary developer has grown to incorporate product management duties such as assigning technical tasks, coordinating release cycles between different teams, and offering technical insight on product discussions.

Working with a variety of clients to ensure they’re headed in the best possible direction to meet their short and long term goals. Developing unique solutions and apps for startups and established clients alike.

Oversaw and developed more than 15 iOS apps ranging from deal hunting and online communities to fashion marketplaces and more. Introduced standards and QA to the flagship apps to ensure a stable user experience and cut down development costs. Participated in code reviews for varying areas of development to gather unique perspectives and offer insight. Engaged with clients directly when management was spread a bit too thin. Instated development processes to make jumping into codebases easier so new developers could get started without facing unnecessary challenges.

Developing business critical applications in C# and Java that processed extremely confidential employee information. Performing in-depth research of emerging threats to develop high confidence signatures. Conducting exploit proof of concepts to check for vulnerability impact and developing mitigation techniques. Modifying policies and rule sets of the IDS/IPS appliances to comply with Government policies and protect against emerging threats.
