Lead Test Engineer
CurrentProject lead for EPS-Technology. Manage a team of technicians and performs hands-on testing and commissioning of electrical installations. Make certain all applicable tests activities are performed on every piece of equipment or system in accordance with planning and project documents. Make certain all test results are acceptable and permanently recorded, filed and distributed properly. Plan, coordinate, perform and document the testing of utility substation apparatus, protection, and control circuits. Perform troubleshooting and problem analysis associated with protection and control systems. Control circuit testing- wire checks/point-to-point verification, functional testing, and troubleshooting. Circuit isolation and restoration (Trip/Close, transformer control, alarms, SCADA, relay I/O).CT/PT circuit testing- wire checks/point-to-point verifications, functional testing, and troubleshooting, burden circuit isolation, ratio, polarity, single phase current injection. Examples of equipment testedVacuum breakers, circuit breakers, power transformers, bus, CTs, PTs, disconnect switches, arrestors, cables, DC battery banks, grounding, station service transformers, AC/DC panels.
