How can I help? When I think back on the positions I have held and the companies I’ve worked for, I have had one common motive to show up every day; I love to go into work and dig in to see how I can help. Weather it be processes, staffing, technology or work culture. I want to make a difference and help solve problems to make businesses run efficiently. Helping others to simplify their jobs, be less prone to error and set up automation not only increases productivity, but also allows companies to utilize employees to their fullest potential. This ties into the one reason why I co-founded a non-profit to help people send care packages to deployed soldiers, Care Packs For Heroes, Inc. Our online service automates the ability for families and friends send custom care packages by using a gift registry and online shopping. At the time, there was no organized way to do this, so we developed a site that could. Working in a large corporation or a small non-profit, assisting others is always my goal. When managing others, the need to solve problems, assist with assignments, and mentor, is a daily activity. Leading a non-profit (and being one of a few volunteers) requires more tactical thinking with regards to operations, marketing, inventory management and the overall administrative maintenance of the company. In either case, no job is too big or small to tackle! One of the many things that I have learned is that I am constantly learning and improving! As issues arise, or when life throws you curves, or if the world goes in a crazy direction, I have had to learn new skills, perspectives and new solutions. Luckily, I never want to stop learning new ideas, trends, and technology. Because of this desire for growth, I decided to research and explore the world of Salesforce. I have attended many Salesforce events and studied the CRM and best practices. I love the corporate culture of Salesforce as a company, and how awesome and flexible this software is. I am now proudly a Salesforce Certified Administrator and I am ready to help businesses capitalize on using this platform to it’s full potential.
