This is a very effective cost saver and we advise our clients to move ahead.All Companies and Groups are required to implement the ISO 9001 Standards and a Certificate of Compliance is one of the main requirements. Having a GMR 2.1 experience helps us provide the required tests and to make the office safe and provide a CoC for the Installation.DOMESTIC MARKET:We work with Housing Developers and provide competitive Electrical Solutions. Prioritise and allocate resources for optimum maintenance of machines. • Electrical and mechanical breakdowns to all Printing and Book Binding machines.• Overall electrical compliance is maintained through the site. • Control and monitor Engineering Budget. Planned annual maintenance is done within an allocated budget but emergency spending is authorised within limits. Prior Capex planning allows for major spending so that in-house labour and operations help reduce the budget without affecting the planned maintenance. • GMR 2.1 responsibilities. Ensure the company safety rules and procedures are adhered to according to the OHS Act. Ensuring downtime handled promptly.• Standby and call out duties.Achievements• Achieved deadlines during planning and executing of projects concerning machinery when Paarlmedia Kzn was initially commissioned (2010). • Appointed as GMR 2.1 and worked towards achieving ISO 9001 accreditation. (first to achieve status in Paarlmedia Group)• Project Manager: Planned and executed 2014 Megtec Drier Exchange project within three days. Initial time planned by Megtec was three weeks. Managed planned maintenance projects from conception through to commissioning. Being proactive filtered out the important projects in the department.
