Job Responsibilities-Consolidation of Data on Segregated Assets, Cash Reserves with Foreign Central banks & Foreign Deposits on Quarterly basis for SEC & Regulatory Reporting(FRY-9C and FFIEC 031).-Validation Of Consolidated Securitization Data Template & following up with the Lines of Business.- Preparation of the Intercompany Dashboard with a Line Of Business Split & investigating the breaks above corporate threshold every month.- Collection of inputs for peer analysis & putting together the Competitors' Analysis Deck.- History Tie out & Cross referencing of 10Q & 10K with regulatory schedules.-Handling a team of four members.

- Day to day accounting function as per US GAAP including FX position checks, Open item reconciliations, providing collaterization & deposit balances reports to other teams for reporting purposes, submission of derivative trade details to FSA & accounting entries. - Month end process including General Ledger Reconciliation & PCA uploads.-Preparation of unnatural balances report & collating the global Intercompany metrics.-Balance Sheet Generation from CDGL & Variance Analysis.-Reference Data Maintenance for EMEA & Asia entities. -Month end & quarter end reporting activity including T&E, MARS & Basel Trade Details Report.-Providing numbers for GWM entities to the regulatory reporting teams.-Co-ordination & support for the annual audit process, both internal and external and SOX testing as applicable.

Responsible for complete accounting of an US client into the government contracting business. Job ResponsibilitiesManagement Accounts - Preparation of Balance Sheet, P&L A/c, Cash flow Statement & supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP & DCAA (Defence Contract Audit Agency) rules on a monthly basis. ERP used Cost PointBilling Preparation of monthly cost plus billings to UN based on direct labour cost & overheads.AP Reviewing the entries done by the team & posting the entries in the appropriate GL Accounts.Bank Reconciliations Preparing bank reconciliations & foreign exchange revaluation reports on a monthly basis.Payroll -- Reviewing bi-weekly payroll files prepared by the team based on time cards sent by client, checking deductions, exemptions & tax calculations & generating payslips. Preparation of wage earning statements for tax purposes. Calculation of Federal, FICA & other payroll taxes.Audit supportPreparation of audit files as required by auditors including write-ups on internal control setup & judgement used in passing journal entries. Coordinating with & supporting the auditors in US.Managing a team of 3 members.
