Fellowship from UGC/CSIR prompted me to take up my career as a hardcore researcher in earth sciences. On completion of Doctorate in ground water exploration from Delhi University, I took up my first job as Analyst/Modeler in Risk Analysis domain. Strong academic background coupled with professionalism helped me in delivering on different assigned roles from executing GIS projects to managing large scale Remote Sensing projects, business development. Having technical expertise along with business acumen, I was entrusted with management roles in Business Development where I had the opportunity to contribute to a variety of small to large opportunities in Agriculture and Natural Resource Management, Risk modeling, Land Management, Utility, Telecom, Transportation, State Spatial Data Infrastructure projects, Surveying etc. along with helping organization standardize its procedures, document templates etc. to comply with ISO requirements that led to successful Certification. My assignments also had that of 'Team Leader' in State Wide Aquifer Mapping Project’ where I was responsible for delivery of a ‘first of its kind project in India’. Short stint at ONSDI, Muscat was unique in the sense that I got the opportunity to define and implement policies and standards for National geospatial datasets of Oman and ISO standards for organizational working.My current role at Saptrishi is to lead the Remote Sensing team and implement innovative solutions for problem solving in Agri-Business, Crop-Insurance and Banking industries. This requires use of multi-temporal, multi-spectral Optical and Microwave satellite images, Drone data together with research to detect sowing trends, sowing failure, crop stress analysis, mid season crop loss assessments, plot level analytics, farmer profiling and integrated solution for reducing crop cutting experiments through intensive weather data analysis, crop simulation studies and machine learning. Saptrishi is also an empaneled company with Survey of India for Drone based mapping for Svamitva project.In 2020 recognized as "MOST INFLUENTIAL AGRICULTURE INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL" by Agriculture Innovation Congress that is endorsed by CMO Global, CMO Asia and World CSR Day keeping my contribution to Agri sector in view.And also ABSA 2021 award as: Leader with Strategic Vision- GIS and Remote Sensing.
