- Handled domestic and overseas vendors with a total purchasing amount of NR 850 crores per yearMajor responsibilities and achievements: - Potential vendor identification : Carried out on-site audits reviewing vendors’ capabilities pertaining to new development, quality and infrastructure and also reviewed their financial statements to study the financial health of the companies- Ensured on time development and ensured sufficient capacity for 15+ components for a new engine platform, launched in 2023. Components : CVVT, timing chain system, catalytic converter, belt system. Purchasing amount: INR 224 crores-Successfully spearheaded a new engine project as a project manager, coordinating with individual buyers, internal stakeholders, ensuring timely development of parts with adequate capacity with suppliersTotal parts: 49; Suppliers: 22; Internal stakeholders: 4; Project purchasing amount : INR 1584 crores/year- Effectively coordinated for 8 projects with other project managers and team members on capex, part development, and mass production readiness

- Development and Purchase manager for Clutch system and Exhaust systems- Project Manager - Gasoline Engine Projects (BS-6) | Vehicle Projects coordinator- Established an efficient supply chain with three suppliers (linear chain) for supply of exhaust and muffler systems for first time in HMI by collaborating with internal teams - Ensured development and pricing of exhaust treatment system for BS6 applications- Achieved exponential reduction in chronic field complaints of a critical transmission component by implementing a new design without incremental cost through benchmarking, strategic sourcing and negotiation in collaboration with Quality team of HMI. The design was incorporated for the first time in HMC companies.- Management of share of business of multi sourced components based on Quality, Cost and Delivery- TFT coordinator - BS4 to BS6 transition- Generated Value engineering proposals through suppliers and realized cost benefit of over 8 crores in 2017 and 2018- Budget management- Organized Annual Vendor Convention for the years 2017 , 2018 and 2019 , aimed at strengthening HMI and Vendor business relationship
