Working as a Health and Safety coordinator in a General Contracting company called Laycon Construction Services Inc who are mainly working with Metrolinx and different Cities in an around GTA. Responsibilities are different such as organisation’s internal COR audits and maintenance and playing a key role in Development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs to create a safe work environment according to ministry requirements. Also maintaining day to day safety inspections,Trainings,Accident/incident investigations etc. Associated with different projects, mainly Metrolinx Go Stations safety upgrades 2022-2023(Union GO station,Ajax GO station, Burlington GO station, Aurora Go station, Aukville Go station, Hamilton Go station, Rutherford Go Station etc). We are also working different projects for City of Markham, City of York, Peel region , City of Toronto.Completed Two year Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management from Lambton College in Toronto, Ontario. Having a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from Anna University, India and having 5 years of work experience as a Civil engineer in Building Construction and Development sector in India and Sultanate of Oman.
