‘Divyang- Ek Ummeed’ is a mission driven by passion and commitment to work towards inclusiveness of physically challenged persons in the mainstream of the Global society. The mission is currently providing information through a Mobile App, website as well as offline about special services and assistance that are available for Divyangjan. In collaboration with Government, other NGOs, and Corporate it offers a facility for skill development and employment. This mission is being consistently supported by a team of dedicated young professionals, all sections of the society, industry, the government and academia.My roles and responsibilities as "Co-Founder and Director" were as follows:• Conceptualized Divyang friendly app with10+ features including the dashboard, latest news, find NGOs, Government Initiatives, find Jobs, Unique Disability ID (UDID), find School, rehabilitation facility, accessibility to transportation, entrepreneur cell, support group etc.• Major projects include Data Digitization. Identified the problem of data not being in digital form. Policy-making adversely affected due to unavailability of data. Managed to develop an application that would help digitize data across all government hospitals. (Pilot in Lucknow)• Nearly 3000 certificates digitized till Dec 2018. Categorized according to the type of disability, age group, the percentage of disability etc.• Led a team working on breakthrough concepts of Divyang Stall. Provided 3% reservation for Divyang stalls at various bus stands in the state of Uttar Pradesh by the Ministry of Transportation.• Work appreciated by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand secured a letter of recommendation from Mr. Mukesh Jain, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJE).• Major awards during my tenure include the First prize at Social Innovation Competition, FMS Delhi, first runner-up at Swadeshi startup meet, IIT Delhi and first social venture to secure Incubation at TIDES.

Cognizance, the annual technical festival of IIT Roorkee, is an agglomeration of over 180 events which encompass every wavelength of an entire technical spectrum. Commenced in 2003, cognizance has emerged as one of the largest festivals of its kind in the Indian subcontinent and many of its core events witness a participation numbering in thousands.My roles and responsibilities as "Manager (Workshops)" were as follows:• Organized 14 workshops on trending techno-managerial topics in association with prominent companies• Spearheaded a team of 50 members and brought 2700+ active participation for multi-dimensional technical events• Arbitrated workshop budget with companies and managed 5 million INR through workshop and participation.• Organized zonal cognizance among various colleges of 8 cities and managed sponsorship from local vendors• Garnered a massive 3.25 million web hits; revamped the entire structural flow of events to improve the user experience.

Students' Affairs Council is a student-led, active organization that engages with, empowers and represents the diverse student population of IIT Roorkee.The Student Affairs Council is responsible for developing, reviewing, and evaluating plans and setting directions for student affairs in accordance with the vision, mission and strategic plan of the college. It is the focal point of campus life here at IIT Roorkee which not only provides guidance and leadership to student affairs but also identifies student needs and develop strategies addressing their issues. SAC primarily fosters the coordination and communication between system institution and student body and makes sure students' opinions are being heard.My roles and responsibilities as "Maintenance Secretary" were as follows:• Represented a pool of 600 students by taking up the responsibility for maintenance and discipline in the Boy's Hostel of IIT Roorkee.• Was extensively involved in discussions and meetings with the Chief Warden and Warden regarding hostel affairs.• Worked in coordination with other representatives.• Supervised budget planning and resource allocation for cultural activities and maintenance work in the hostel
