UTS is the NorthStar IT Enterprise Architecture mandate data broker for Verizon Internal Systems. APIs are Spring Boot Java APIs, and all services are hosted on AWS Kubernetes serversDispatch Services- (October 2017-April 2019) - Dispatch Services is a software layer that manages the workflow that tracks field tickets, and then assigns Field Technicians to those tickets. Field Technician can then use Android Tablets to track their work to completion, and perform line tests to ensure validation.

• One of two Test Architects on the XO QA team responsible for managing half of the entire IT QA portfolio• Managed an off-shore Selenium/Java Test Automation team (Prodapt - India). • Managed and tested many high visibility projects over the years• Spearheaded many initiatives that helped the team transition from manual testing to automated testing.XO Communications Business Domains:At XO Communications, I worked predominantly in the Provisioning and Activation space, and the last 3 years prior to the Verizon transition, on the myXO Customer facing portal. For the Provisioning and Activation space, I had to interface extensively with the engineering and lab team. The myXO portal work was an Agile project that I was personally responsible for while also simultaneously wearing multiple hats in managing an offshore vendor team, and also taking care of my Test Architect responsibilities as well.

• Part of a core technology startup team (first 5 employees) personally recruited from Nortel by former Senior Manager at Alcatel to start an IP Software Services branch for Veraz Networks (formerly ipVerse; parent company based in San Jose) in Richardson, Texas. • Development lead on the design and development of a MGCP interface from the ipVerse SoftSwitch to a 3rd party Media Server. Interface allowed the SoftSwitch Call Control module to support Media Server applications. Code was done in C++ on a Solaris platform.• Worked extensively with the inventor of the MGCP Protocol in trying to come up with a MGCP call flow for handling 3 party calls over a conference bridgeVeraz Networks Business Domains:At Veraz Networks, I worked predominantly on the interfaces layer between the SoftSwitch Call Control layer and the Services Layer. As such, I had to delve into both the call control and routing logic, as well as the business logic associated with the services layer.

• Part of the CDMA 3G development team.• Wireless Data/Mobile IP and L2TP related software development (C/VxWorks) at Nortel Networks. This included the Home Agent part of Nortel’s Mobile IP solution. Was promoted to software development lead after 10 months at Nortel before leaving for iPVerse(later Veraz Networks).• Part of a 2 person team that developed a L2TP protocol test simulation tool, which was used to certify the Shasta Wireless Switch. The Shasta Switch was a core piece of Nortel’s Mobile IP solution.

• Software developer part of a large scale C++ software development team; Worked in the Advanced Intelligent Networks division. Code was done on C++/Solaris systems. Main customer was OPTUS (Australia). Toll Free and Calling Card applications were the main applications developed. • Wrote incr-Tcl scripts developed using generic libraries submitted by Motorola, for switch activation verification. Was chosen as the sole representative from Alcatel to go to Motorola, IL site, and run these scripts as part of user acceptance test.• Developed numerous generic incr-Tcl libraries that could be used in plug and play fashion for other test efforts by other team members.
