Successfully transitioned two new projects for processing of documents related to Commercial Claims and objection of 8 Regional Companies of a leading US property and casualty insurance company under Insurance domain.

Project Details: - a fortune 100 US company and one of the major Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance companies in US. To provide better services to their clients related to their claims and objection. they processes their client’s claims and objection electronically.Key Deliverables • Managing a team of 275 FTEs working on 3 shifts for 6 days in a week across three locations, Kolkata, Mumbai and Hyderabad, in India.• Planning for manpower allocation to the different workflow between two locations to achieve optimum production figures and adhering to the different turn-around time of 2 hours, 6 hours and 24 hours for different workflows.• Coordination with Quality team on daily basis to ensure achievement of > 98 % accuracy level.• Participating in the monthly client’s senior management Governance meeting • Coordination between the On-site SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) and the Of-Shore team.• Coordination between the On-site mailroom service provider and scanning center and Of-shore indexing team• Coordination between Of-shore team and client IT team to bridge in the Gaps of understanding different workflows and fix any issues coming up due to usage of Citrix box at Of-shore.• Analysis of the impact of any change orders and implementation of the same in a planned manner.

Project Details: - A fortune 100 US company and one of the major Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance companies in US. To help them in processing their clients claims and other related documents, TCS (Tata Consultancy Services), undertook the project of Imaging and Indexing various documents related to claims and objection, Surety and Accounts payable into their own legacy system. The sources of documents are mainly from three sources viz. mail (US Post), fax and email.Key Deliverables Understanding client’s existing business processes, analyze and coordinate between the Of-Shore Indexing team operating out of two locations in India, scanning center at California and Liberty (both Imaging and IT) team. Working as a bridge between onshore mailroom service provider and scanning center and Of Shore Indexing team to see smooth flow of Indexed documents to client. It starts with physical receipt of mails at the Onshore mailroom service provider premises, sorting of mails under different specified categories, scanning them, exporting them to clients' servers after wrapping them with EDI wrapper. Once it reaches clients' servers it undergoes some more processes at client end before being placed into the indexing queue for the Indexers working at of-shore in India. The Indexer has to Index them according to the business rule provided for different workflows by client.Coordination between off-shore team and client Imaging team to shorten the Gap in understanding. This is mainly required to clear the misinterpretation of the business rules by the Of-shore Indexers.

Project Details: - A leading US Financial software, data and media company. to provide information from one single, all-information platform, launched their single platform core product to provide all sorts of information needed by financial professionals. The preparation of the back end data to support their product was undertaken by us. Our project was to extract data from HTML/PDF files and build up a database and ultimately provide them with XML files for each and every document. We used our in house developed tool to extract the data and generate the final XMLs.Went to Hangzhou, China for two months (6th Jan 2007 to 28th Feb 2007) for execution of the same project pertaining to about 60000 NON-English (Chinese, Japanese and Korean) documents. As a Project Manager my responsibilities included recruitment of 109 Chinese, Korean and Japanese associates, installation of the tool to aid extraction of data points and ultimately the delivery in time with accuracy of 99%.Key Deliverables • Active part in Design and Implementation of the Service Accelerator tool.• Managing a team of 109 analysts working on 3 shifts for 6 days in a week.• Overall planning for manpower allocation to the different stations of the workflow to ensure the adherence of Turn-Around-Time ranging between 3 hours to 24 hours.• Coordination with Quality team on daily basis to ensure achievement of 98.5 % accuracy level.• Taking part in Internal Top-level Management Reporting and Project Planning.• Participating in the monthly client’s senior management Governance meeting.

Project Details: - Scanning and Digitization of Land Registration documents for the State of Jharkhand, India. The Government of Jharkhand was facing lot of challenges to stop the manipulation of sale of Lands in their state and to conquer those challenges wanted to scan and digitize all the documents related to Registration of Land for the State. The Project requirements was scan and digitize the hand written documents pertaining the details of all the registered lands for the State of Jharkhand, India and create a state wide electronic database with reference to the images for easy retrieval of documents through a in house developed search engine.

Project Details: - Election Commission of India, State – Bihar, gave CMC Ltd. the project to undertake the total end to end IT related activities of the electioneering mechanism. This involved our participation starting from creation of Electoral Roll database, printing them according to the formats prescribed by Election Commission of India and based on these databases and linking of photographs produce EPICs (Electoral Photo Identity Cards). This was done to ensure that during the Election process every voter should produce his photo identification during casting of vote.

A. Registrar General Of India, who is responsible to publish the reports for General Census of India, use to get the data captured through the regional offices of The Directorate Of Census Operations, appointed us as the technical consultants for the project of Scanning and Digitization of hand written Census Document. The main objective was to capture data pertaining to the country’s populace in entirety in respect of an individual’s age, sex, education level, religion, caste, occupation, language etc.B. Election Commission Of India, State – West Bengal, entrusted us with the project of creation of Electoral Roll database and printing them in accordance to the formats prescribed by Election Commission of India for all the districts of North Bengal. Additionally based on thus created databases we had to take photographs of all the NON-EPIC(Electoral Photo Identity Cards) voters and prepare EPIC, distribute to them. For this program we had to set up our own fully equipped On-line EPIC production team and send them to the remotest corner of all the districts of North Bengal. C. Department of Tourism, Government of India had entrusted us with a job to computerize their offices, with latest information about the tourist places of India. There were 40 (forty) such locations spread all over India. A core team at New Delhi developed the software. The software had mainly two components one static portion, which was developed using text retrieval software called “KAWARE II” and the other portion was dynamic portion which was developed using PC-Informix. During those days (1991) these software’s were loaded in PC XT machines with 20 MB of HDD, One CD-ROM drive, one internal Modem card. The CD containing the static portion of the all India database containing the latest tourist information was burnt in USA. The project was called “TOURNET”.
